Pentair Lil Rebel / Dorado Regulator Valve (41200-0200) is a replacement part that was made by Pentair from the same high-quality materials used to manufacture the original Factory part making this a genuine OEM product.
The valve automatically balances the water flow between the skimmer and the cleaner, it adjusts to changes in the amount of water flow to provide the suction cleaners with the power necessary to ensure proper cleaning performance.
This part is off White and properly labeled as to which side must be put down into the skimmer, and what side needs to connects to the hose making the part easy to identify and install. Also, the Cap is black and used to regulate the amount of water flow from the skimmer and should be facing the upward position.
