This is my favorite driver for single lithium cell lights, it is based off of the Nanjg 105C but is flashed with custom firmware and uses higher binned 7135 chips.  I believe that it is the most versatile 17mm driver out there. It is highly configurable with 4 user select able mode groups (see below), no visible or audible PWM (flicker), low voltage protection, etc.
My favorite is the 4th star selection which provides four light levels and no strobe functions.
It will work well with any Cree XM-L or XM-L2 LED, it delivers 1.52 amps constant current..  It can also work well with XP-G or XP-G2 LEDs.

-Reverse polarity protection
-Gold plated spring and contacts
-Memory sets after turned on in any mode for 2 seconds (light will turn back on to that mode if turned off)
-No visible flicker or audible noises
-Tinned leads already installed
-Reverse polarity protection (diode).
-Low voltage protection.  At around 3 volts the light will reduce power to around half, at 2.8 volts the light will blink and then shut off.  This will protect your lithium batteries which generally shouldn't be discharged below 2.75 volts.
-(4) .380mA 7135 chips (1.52 total amps)
Mode Group Selection
To select one of the four available mode groups, simply solder or otherwise connect the selected star to the outside ring (ground).
Star count is from left to right with stars on the bottom of the board.
Star 1: 2%-25%-100% (default: if this is your desired group no need to connect anything)
Star 2: 5%-30%-100%-Strobe-Beacon
Star 3: 15%-100%
Star 4: 5mA (moonlight)-2%-25%-100%
