    Description

    Early 1900s Giuseppe Casini Bowl Back Mandolin, Napoli Itali. From what I understand instruments by Giuseppe Casini are highly sought-after.  This mandolin has no cracks, I put some new strings on it, it stays in tune, I am not a mandolin player so I can't really tell you how hard or easy it is to play, the action does look a little high from the neck. The main label has two signatures on it. The other label appears to be from a music store that either sold the instrument initially or worked on the instrument at some point. It does look to me like there was a headstock break and repair that you can see in a couple of photographs.
